The short answer
On the vendors' own pricing pages, studio software for a US dance studio was listed from $35 to $139 a month for the entry plan, rising with students or locations. Most add card fees on payments, and some charge for add-ons. These are list prices on the day we read them; vendors change them, and a quote can differ.

What usually comes on top
- Payment processing. A fee on each card payment. The Studio Director's lower price applies when you use its own processing.
- Add-ons. e-Ballroom prices waivers and text messages separately, and Sportivi in Cloud prices modules such as the members' web app on top.
- Contracts. Pike13's listed price is for a 12-month contract, and Lime Sportadmin's for a yearly agreement.
- Growth. Jackrabbit and The Studio Director rise with the number of students; Mindbody and iClassPro are priced per location.

What this assumes
- DanceFlow takes 50% of the time you spend each week on scheduling, payments, reminders and admin (now 15 h), and an hour of yours is worth $50.
- 3% of the lessons you teach a month (about 520) are no-shows, and a reminder would have kept 50% of them.
- You stop paying for the tools listed, $140 a month together.
- Nothing for growth or new students: nobody can promise you those.
