For studios that run medal tests

Medal test software for ballroom studios

For studios that test with DVIDA or another examining body, or run their own medal tests. The candidates, the fees, the examiner's feedback and each dancer's figure checklist live in the studio's own books, beside the lessons and packages that got them there.

In detail

A test day run from one screen

Plan the day, choose the examining body and the examiner, and enter each candidate with their dances, level and sub-level. Mark a test standardized (the figures of the level) or specialized (the dancer's own routine). The candidate list prints and exports for the examiner, and each fee goes on the student's account when the list is sent.

  • Results recorded per dance, and a pass moves the dancer's level in their record
  • The examiner's note per dance and feedback on single figures, released to families with the result
  • A printable certificate in your studio's own name

Bronze 1 to Bronze 4, the way studios talk

Split any level into sub-levels 1 to 4. Figures, exam entries and the checklist group by sub-level, so a teacher sees what is left in Bronze 2 Waltz at a glance. Paste your studio's own figure list, from material you hold, and it goes into your private syllabus in one step, with undo.

  • Your own figure names, in your own order: DanceFlow ships no published syllabus
  • Filter any level by its sub-level
  • Dancers and families read the same checklist, read only

Practice links your studio chooses

Give any figure a Watch link to the video your studio uses, for example the page in your syllabus subscription. Dancers tap it from their checklist and it opens outside DanceFlow. Nothing is hosted or embedded, your teaching notes stay private, and the studio decides whether links are shown at all.

Your test plan, in your own numbers

If your studio buys a yearly test allowance, type its size and the month it renews. The exam area shows tests used, planned and left, and medal tests passed by each teacher in the same year.

  • The number is yours: DanceFlow reads nothing from any examining body
  • Teachers' credentials on their profiles, including DVIDA's Associate, Master and Grand Master degrees and teacher tests
Questions

Common questions

Does DanceFlow include a medal test syllabus?

No. Every studio enters its own figure list, typed or pasted, and it stays private to that studio. Links point wherever the studio chooses.

Is DanceFlow connected to an examining body?

No. DanceFlow is independent and is not affiliated with any examining body. It is the studio's own record of its medal tests, whichever body it tests with. DanceFlow is not NDCA-sanctioned.

What do families see?

The exam day coming up, then the result, the examiner's note and the figure feedback once the studio releases them, and the figure checklist with Watch links when the studio shows them.
